Paunovic at "Women for Preservation of Tradition" Festival

The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Snezana Paunovic appeared in the Serbian national costume from the city of Prizren in Saint Petersburg, where she is participating in the 4th Eurasian Women's Forum, as part of the "Women for the Preservation of Tradition" Festival, displaying the traditional and rich cultural heritage of Serbia.

"I wanted the representatives of the 120 participating countries at the Eurasian Forum to see the beauty of the Serbian tradition contained in the Prizren national costume, as well as to convey Serbia's position that Kosovo-Metohija, Serbia’s southern province, is an inseparable part of the state of Serbia. The video that accompanied my presentations showcased the beauty of the Serbian monasteries on the territory of Kosovo-Metohija," said Paunovic.

Paunovic stressed that the national costume reflects the importance and beauty of our national tradition and contributes to the preservation of cultural identity.
